The depth of PTI's 1553 expertise and the strength of PTI's monolithic circuit technology have made the company an industry leader in Data Bus components. In addition to Mil-Std-1553/1760 databus products (including the world's smallest Data Bus transceivers and terminals), solid-state power controllers, high-density multi-chip modules, PTI continues to produce customer, state-of-the-art hybrid microcircuits.
Located in a 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Largo, Florida within the STAR Center, PTI's in-house hybrid microcircuit manufacturing capabilities include the manufacture of multi-layer, thick-film and thin-film substrates; laser trimming; controlled atmosphere soldering for high-power hybrids; thermosonic wire bonding; and computer automated testing. Advanced statistical engineering analyses are employed to optimize test times to improve reliability of components and production yield.
The company also has monitored clean room facilities and comprehensive testing facilities with full Mil-Std-883 environmental screening capabilities and has satisfied ISO-9001 requirements. PTI design and manufacturing teams also routinely perform design reviews, self-audits, and comprehensive error analyses to guarantee quality.
